Social Development reiterates determination to enhancing SASSA grants

Social Development Minister Sisisi Tolashe has pledged her guidance and commitment to strengthening South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) expert services during an engagement together with the agency's senior administrators in a strategic setting up session in Cape Town.
Tolashe on Tuesday expressed her heartfelt congratulations to the numerous social grant beneficiaries, who excelled within the 2024 matric final exams.
In the 724 156 full-time learners who registered for the National Senior Certification (NSC), 572 338 are social grant beneficiaries, representing 81% of the registered pupils from the schooling sector.
These learners achieved a commendable pass rate of 86%.
